Emotions Incarnated Pop Up at Solana Beach | Crafts

The American abstract movement of the 1950s included artists such as Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, and Helen Frankenthaler, all of whom continue to influence the abstract art genre in contemporary times. To celebrate this movement and its evolution almost 70 years later, Art Scene West is bringing you two full weeks of abstract art from artists from Central and Southern California in our gallery and backyard for a Spring pop-up exhibition. Emergence. The event titled “Emotions Incarnate: West Coast Abstractions” will take place on May 1st until the 14th with pop-ups outside on weekends (1st, 2nd, 8e and 9e) at our location 312 South Cedros, Solana Beach. The list of artists and an overview of the works that will be available can be found on Art Scene West Artsy.

The Emotions Embodied pop-up features a subset of artists from our biggest online show available at www.artscenewest.com and Artsy.net which includes artists from all over the west coast which takes place since March 3e. This show includes 60 pieces and 37 artists. A portion of all profits from sales of this show will be donated to the Center for Cultural Innovation.
